As far as that first hand goes, I'm playing it the exact same way as the moron.

You were last to act on third street with a good door and nobody else in the pot, I'm completing there with any three cards every time. I would suspect moron realized that as well (although I agree, later play validates his standing as a moron). There is a decent chance he's actually ahead, and he's coming in for a discount, as he's already posted the bring in.

From 4th on the hand is pretty straight forward. Can't justify a fold at any point from either hand. Regardless, I'm with Jordan.

The rest of the hands are bad, if not downright awful. Cash games are the same way, it can be frustrating, but your right, how can you walk away when the play is so bad.

Great blog, hope to see you at the tables (bertgwen).

robertAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7179659995184563617.post-7896015320896301702008-03-25T12:31:00.000-07:002008-03-25T12:31:00.000-07:00Those were definitely some rough beats, and I know...Those were definitely some rough beats, and I know how frustrating it can be when your opponents are constantly making mistakes and then sucking out on you. Still, instead of berating them you could concentrate on minimizing your own mistakes to limit the damage. These guys are chasing to win not only the pot (which may be sizable) but also bets on future streets in the form of implied odds. When you go ahead and bet into them or raise them once they've hit their hand, you've turned them into much better players.TheRazzDoctorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16976339176207253076noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7179659995184563617.post-31727571589301405782008-03-25T08:34:00.000-07:002008-03-25T08:34:00.000-07:00And there it is. I was pulling for you every hand, you big dummy!

I couldn't believe the idiots at that table, but yes, that is why we keep playing.jusdealemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14941962612273507116noreply@blogger.com
