Razz 2/4 - Surflexus Style

I decided to play a little 2/4 Razz last night and had some pretty good results. I play a rather unorthodox game at times so put on your seat belt. :)
We'll call this Hand 1 ( for reference purposes if you want to comment about it )
PokerStars Game #16544228054: Razz Limit ($2/$4) - 2008/04/06 - 22:40:25 (ET)Table 'Modestia V' 8-max

A nice little start. I got a little lucky but I think I had a good enough hand to call down his bets. Let me know if you think I should have played it differently. I'm posting these hands to hopefully get some constructive feedback.

This one worked out OK but I think maybe I should have completed it on 3rd to get the bring in out of the hand. I'm still fairly new to the table so I'm still trying to be a little cautious and I really don't want PokerMedo 3 betting it on 3rd so I decided to just call.

Couple of comments about hand #4.

1. I'm raising on 3rd here every time in an attempt to squeeze KyRice's 5 out of the hand. Your 6 is a monster with three pair bricks dead (AA5) and only one out gone (4). I like to play heads up when possible, and definitely don't mind putting an extra bet in now when I'm almost certainly a favorite against any one other hand.

(Looks like it wouldn't have worked anyway since KyRice raised it himself, but that was impossible to know at the time.)

2. KyRice's call on 7th is a total donation. Your board is 598T and his jack can beat what, exactly? What two in the hole does he think you started with? Seems like a buddy list candidate.

Your analysis for hand #2 is spot on. Definitely complete on 3rd. The rest of that hand played itself. You got very lucky on hand #1. Unless you have a reason to think you have the best hand/draw, that hand will get you into trouble long term. yancy's comments are perfect. I would look up this guy every time I logged on. Good call on hand #3 on 3rd. Don't know why a 10 would complete there or why on earth called the bring-in or the completion with a queen up. 5th street is a must bet. Obvious bet on 6th. NH. Hand #4, bet when ahead. No free drawing in razz. If they want to win, make 'em pay. Installcall on 6th. Would like to see a raise with the hard 8 on 7th. He's just betting it after his steal attempt on 6th hoping you missed 7th. If your hand was good on 6th it only got better on 7th (note that I am talking about this opponent in this situation. he needs to be called down more and value bet/raised more given the weak hands he seems to have been showing.) Hand #5, well played. Nice set up checking the second nuts on 6th. Hand #6, is PoekerMedo mad because he bricked every street?

I have some Razz articles on my blog. Check it out at http://www.themonsterstack.com/
